In a much closer game than the final score indicated, GROH outlasted both the rain and SOLOMON,
14-6…
The offensive charge was led by JAMES SWAN with three hits and three runs, ADAM CRONSTEIN
with a double and triple, TYLER STANSBURY with two hits including a double, PAT FELDMAN
with three RBI’s, sub JOEL “THE WRATH OF” KAHN with three RBI’s and TODD
WASSERMAN and sub TANNER HARRIS each had two hits…..
However, the perhaps the biggest blow came off the bat of RYAN BAUM with four RBI’s including a
three-run home run….
On the defensive side, FELDMAN (3B) and STANSBURY (SS) played sensational defense on the
left side of the infield as well as key catches by each of the outfielders….
The victorious captain said afterwards, “We’re looking for one more special game against the second
half champions and winner of 12 of their last 13 games in TEAM GREFER. To be the best you need
to beat the best as we’ve knocked off the #3 seed (BRAFMAN) and #2 seed (SOLOMON) with the
best of the best being the next big challenge.”
