ON PERSONAL NOTES FROM TEAM GROH……
*The team is pulling for RYAN SMALL and his .800 batting average to recover from his
injury and hope to have him back in the second half……Also, ADAM CRONSTEIN and wife are
expecting a second child any day now…..
TEAM GROH is off next week, but have a huge date with TEAM LEADER and a possible first half
title at stake in two weeks…..
**KEN GROH is looking for someone to watch his two kids (really well behaved?) for the Sunday
games in the second half…..
**BRAFMAN………11………….SCHWARTZ…………….8
The victors clawed out a come from behind win after falling behind early 2-0…..
RILEY ABLE got them on the board in the second inning and a big two out four run rally led by hits
from AARON COMPTON and MARC BRAFMAN helped put them in the lead….
“Anytime you can jump on Howie, it’s big for a confidence standpoint,” COMPTON said after the
game. “I’m glad we were able to get some runs out of that inning.”
JOEL “THE WRATH OF” KAHN, MIKE CREEMER, BEN R-ROD RODRIGUEZ, LEON “THE
BULL” SESERMAN and sub RABBI YITZ also had some big hits……
“I’d like to credit my roommate TAYLOR SCHWARTZ for his continued support and encouragement
during my rookie season,” said SESERMAN in his post game comments.
“Every night before we go to sleep, we stand in front of the mirror and he gives me pointers on my
hitting and fielding. Without him, I’d be lost out there, “he added.
Not to be lost in the game, JEREMY “HAMILTON” FOGEL continues to flash the leather in LCF
making another diving catch and also being the vocal leader in the outfield.
JASON “THE MAD HUNGARIAN” FAUST, while battling slight illness had this to say about his
third win of the young season, “You know you’re pitching well if you make the other team look as
bad at the plate as I do at the plate.”
***NOTE………A glove was found by RANDY BROYLES on field #4 last night……..anyone missing
