GAME REPORTS WILL BE REPORTED UPON RECEIVING THEM IN THE NEWSROOM……..

SCHWARTZ WINS…..BRAFMAN CONTINUES HOT ROLL………..

*First to report in is the TEAM SCHWARTZ 10-3 victory over TEAM HIUDT……hitting stars

included ZAC SWADNER,  returning from a week off, with four hits and DAVID SOLOMON with

three hits…..HOWARD SCHWARTZ pitched a gem of a game while the defense was as solid as ever

with kudos to 2B ROGER ROSENTHAL, who tied a JCC record by recording three putouts in the

top of the first inning, all on pop ups…..the rest of the team contributed in one form or another either

on offense or defense…and included…..JERRY KIRZNER, MIKE ROTHSTEIN, PETE SPOERL,

DAVID WERTHEIM, CORY NORRIS and ALAN LESSURE……

In an odd way to end the game, an un-named player was caught leading off first base and was called

out for the final out of the game…….

**TEAM BRAFMAN continued with their winning ways as they won their fifth straight game, a 13-

7 victory over TEAM GREFER……the hitting stars were aplenty led by TYLER “THE BIG UNIT”

WOLF, who moved from the lead off spot to third in the batting order with a home run and triple,

GREG HARRIS went 5 for 5, PAT “SUNSHINE” FELDMAN had three RBI’s and “DUFFY” WOLF

had a couple of big knocks……

Once again, DAVE “THE MINISTER OF FUN” COHEN hustled out an infield hit for the second

week in a row to keep a big inning going…….

“I’m glad BRAFMAN finally woke up and realized I should be hitting third this entire season, “

TYLER WOLF said after the game. “I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season and showing

him what a clown he was for hitting me lead off.”

On the defensive side, WES WOLF, DAVID SNYDER, SCOTT WOLF, HARRIS and T. WOLF all

made plays to keep the opponents off the bases and the scoreboard……

“I continue to be impressed with our defense. To limit most teams to three outs per inning, it helps

“EPPY” (pitcher STEVE “AQUAMAN” EPPSTEIN because he knows all he has to do is throw

strikes and we’ll do the rest,” BRAFMAN said after the game.

EPPSTEIN continues to turn back the clock with another stellar game on the hill while also

contributing with a single….

“I give all the credit to the number of wings I eat post game and to DICK NICKELSON who has

continued to train me and keep me in shape this season. Without him I’d be lost on the mound, “

EPPSTEIN said after the game was scarfing down his 10th plate of wings.
