Captain KEN GROH reported in with an update of his team’s clinching the first half title and the first
half stats……
Vs. TEAM HIUDT, they trailed 2-0 after the opening frame, but struck for 3, 6 and 5 runs in
consecutive innings en route to a five inning 15-3 victory…..new team member (JACK COHEN
(perm. sub), JUSTIN KIRSCHNER, NOAH GILBERT and GROH all had three hits each…..of
GILBERT’S hits two were a triple and home run while batting in the clean-up spot……RYAN BAUM
had his first triple of the season and seven players scored two runs or more…….
The victory coupled with a TEAM SCHWARTZ loss, gave them the first half title as they would have
lost a tiebreaker……

*NOAH GILBERT led the team with two home runs………
*SCOTT FRIEND hit .609 and 13 RBI’s……
*RYAN BAUM, BEN BARNETT, RICK TENNENHOLTZ, JUSTIN KIRCHNER all batted over
.400……
*Veterans EDDIE GALLUP and BRUCE YOUNGER played great defense and helped unite the
team….
