The softball games were played this evening is spite of heavy downpours in parts of the area……
TEAM ROSENTHAL defeated TEAM ROTHSTEIN, 9-1, as MVP candidate JASON FAUST pitched a stellar game with great defense behind him…..the game saw the father-son combination of father JOEL FOGEL vs. son JEREMY FOGEL (subbing for TEAM ROTHSTEIN)……the senior FOGEL contributed at the plate, but threw DOCTOR ROBERT PELBERG, making his first appearance of the season, out at the plate, trying to score from second base on a hit to left field…..and PETE SPOERL was again flawless at third base and had a couple of key base knocks……
CONGRATS GO OUT TO JEFF WEISBROT AND ALBERT WEISBROT ON THE BIRTH OF THEIR SON AND GRANDSON…….Future JCC softballer??????
