Orange equals pink when your team loses more games than any other team. Orange equals pink when your team loses 5 games by the “10 run rule”. Orange equals pink when your team loses in the play-in game by 10 runs to the team you beat twice during the regular season.. Team Franklin is the winner of the pink shirt award for 2009. Friday August 28……….5:49 p.m…….STEVE EPPSTEIN reported in a little late, but he did report in only because his team had a HUGE victory over the slumping TEAM WERNICK, 17-16,……….game balls were given to MATT STEINBERG, who hit a big three run homerun in the top of the seventh inning and to SCOTT “SHORTY” ADAMS, who contributed offensively……..kudos also go to BRAD WAGNER (four hits) NORM FRANKEL, JORDAN GUTTMAN and BRANDON GUTTMAN for their offensive and defensive efforts……..as for TEAM WERNICK………JOHNNY BERG had a big day offensively, but the league is starting to catch onto his pitching….rumor has it that captain DAVID WERNICK was going to fly TOM SEAVER into town to give some pointers before Wednesday’s game……….also, WERNICK has told his team NOT to talk to the media about the team or they’ll be fined heavily……….ODDS FOR THE TOURNAMENT TO COME SOON……. r.rosenthal@fuse.net …………..

What can only be said about the outcome of this game is the word “Upset”! Had it not been for a 2 out throwing error by the former Commissioner for Life” with no one on base, Team Franklin would have had their fifth win of the season. Team Loon then scored 5 runs before the third out in the inning. Going into the 7th inning Team Franklin still had the lead 8-7, Team Loon score 5 more runs in the top half of the inning. Team Franklin mounted a threat scoring a run, before the third out of the final inning ended and then end of regular season.
Speculation has it several players on Team Franklin and Team Loon have played their last regular season game ever!

Thursday August 27……….11.04 a.m……….the GUTTMAN BROTHERS…….JORDAN and BRANDON are now officially in the BLOG fan club along with President GREG LEADER……..speaking of JORDAN……check out that tatoo he has on his arm…….nice!!!!!!……..winners last night were TEAMS SCHWARTZ, EPPSTEIN, NEWMAN and LOOOOOOOOOOOON……..in reported action……..TEAM LOOOOOOON came from a 9-3 defecit by scoring 12 runs in the last two innings to defeat TEAM FRANKLIN, 15-11, ………combined with the TEAM WERNICK loss, a coin flip took place after the games to determine the #1 seed in which TEAM WERNICK won……tournament action starts SUNDAY at 9:30 a.m…….with the play-in game between TEAM FOGEL and TEAM FRANKLIN…….rumor has it that TEAM FRANKLIN is going to go shirtless the first time around in the batting order……..so if you want to see captain GIGGY FRANKLIN shirtless, come on out……..for the rest of the seedings and schedule check out the website, courtesy of Commissioner MICHAEL ROTHSTEIN………GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS,,,,,,,,,r.rosenthal@fuse.net…………..
