Sunday June 28…………5:41 p.m……….in the only action reported from Sunday morning games is TEAM WERNICK completing a undefeated first half with a tight 9-8 victory over TEAM GREFER……the victors had built a 9-2 and seemingly had things well under control until the bottom of the 6th inning when TEAM GREFER made a charge and scored six runs to make a game of it……after TEAM WERNICK went 1-2-3, TEAM GREFER, with some heavy bats coming up, went 1-2-3, thanks in a large part to first baseman ALAN COHEN’S fine fielding of a shot off the bat of Commissioner MICHAEL ROTHSTEIN…….the second half is scheduled to begin Wednesday………..Good Luck to ALL the teams………..r.rosenthal@fuse.net…………..

Thursday June 25………..10:23 p.m……….in a wild one on Field 4, TEAM KIRZNER outlasted TEAM FRANKLIN, 19-18, in a game that lasted until around 9:00, well after all the other games had finished, rookie RICH FALCONE led a balanced offensive attack for the victors with three hits, including the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh inning, with four RBI’s including a homerun………it should be noted that TEAM FRANKLIN only had nine players……..in other tidbits…….JOEL ”SPARKY” FOGEL sent me a prediction stating that his team “after a rough start will turn this thing around and it will start this Sunday.”……..FOGEL added that DAN GLASSMAN will return to action after being out several weeks due to an injury……..we’ll see what kind of prophet SPARKY is………….now you can add him to the prophet list with ANTON LOOOOOOOON………r.rosenthal@fuse.net……
