For the second week in a row, another nail biter for Team Glassman with the game once again ending with the bases loaded and the winning run at the plate in the bottom of the 7th A line drive out ended it The game was close early until the hitting star Norm Frankel unleashed a bases clearing triple to open up an 10-4 lead for Glassman in a 5 run 5th Newman roared back on the strength of a 3 rd HR by rookie B Stallman to close the lead to 10-9 but it was not enough. Jeff Finkelstein and Brandon Guttman turned in solid defensive performances

Team Schwartz beat Team Harris 8 to 1 thanks to its defense. John Berg sparkled at third with close to double digit flawless opportunities. Momentum could have shifted early, but a great throw from Howard Saresky nipped a sliding Sparky Fogel at home. JB gets the game ball.
