WINNERS/LOSERS WERE THE FOLLOWING……

GREFER/FOGEL……..HIUDT/SCHWARTZ…..LEADER/LEFTON…..WEISSER/CRONSTEIN……..
TEAM WEISSER won their third straight thriller by defeating TEAM CRONSTEIN, 5-4,…..they had to withstand a two on and no outs in the top of the 7th inning to preserve the win…..captain MARK WEISSER pitched a masterful game and SAM HELDMAN filled in in LF and was solid…..SCOTT WOLF and son, FREDDIE WOLF, patrolled the middle of the outfield and did an excellent job…..daring base running from WES WOLF and FREDDIE WOLF proved to be the difference as WES tagged up and scored on a BRAD WAGNER routine pop-up to 2B…….
REPORTS ON THE OTHER GAMES WILL BE PUBLISHED UPON RECEIPT TO THE NEWSROOM…..
HOW ABOUT THIS FACT…..It should be noted that after a rugged first season as captain, ZAC HIUDT has already won as many games this year as all of last year…….HOW ABOUT THAT??????

TEAM LEADER improved to 2-1 with a 19-6 victory over winless TEAM LEFTON…….

Captain GREG LEADER said afterwards, “The offense was on fire.”

Brother-in-law ANTON LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON and rookie PHIL GANSON hit home runs and first year pitcher RANDY BROYLES, known for his great hitting, pitched another gem of a game in which according to LEADER, only two balls were hit into the outfield……
