IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY COMMISSIONER BRAD WAGNER THAT LONG TIME JCC SOFTBALL PLAYER RON ROSE HAS RETIRED…….HE WILL CONTINUE TO CAPTAIN HIS TEAM THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE SEASON…..

HERE’S TO RON ROSE AND ALL THE YEARS HE HAS PUT IN THE LEAGUE AND THE CONTRIBUTIONS HE HAS GIVEN…..

MORE GAME RE-CAPS…….

TEAM FOGEL remained undefeated as they knocked off TEAM WEISBROT 13-2 in a shortened five inning game…..JEREMY FOGEL, son of captain JOEL FOGEL, went a perfect 4 for 4 and also used his arm to gun a runner out at the plate….kudos also go out to the ageless wonder STEVE “I LOST 30 POUNDS” EPPSTEIN and a solid defense, which committed NO errors behind him……

Elsewhere, TEAM GREFER got in the win column with a 9-0 shutout of hapless TEAM LEFTON…..MIKE GRAY, who got the game ball, pitched masterfully and the defense was led by JARED KAMRASS, MICAH KAMRASS, PAT FELDMAN and KYLE GREFER…offensively, BRUCE YOUNGER, FELDMAN, MICAH KAMRASS, GREFER and finally, RICK TENENHOLTZ, who came up with a clutch two strike bases loaded hit…..
