You’ve heard the saying Where’s Waldo?

THE FIRST FAMILY NIGHT IS SCHEDULED THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT……..ALSO, THE ROOKIES WILL BE RECOGNIZED……

ON THE FIELD…….

TEAM ROSENTHAL won their first game of the season with a 16-14 victory over TEAM WEISBROT……the victors had a nice lead all, but disappear, only to rally for five runs in the bottom of the 6th inning and held on for the victory…… it was a total TEAM effort as everyone contributed, but kudos go to JOEL KAHN and PETE SPOERL for their superlative hitting and DAN GLASSMAN’S throwing out a runner to end the game……AARON COMPTON, NICK REUSZER, STEVE EPPSTEIN and yes, ROGER ROSENTHAL, all came up with big hits and defensive plays…….they’ll try to extend their modest win streak Wednesday night vs. TEAM WEISSER……

IN THE BETTER LATE THAN NEVER DEPT……..BRANDON GUTTMAN reported in on his team’s 13-0 victory over previously undefeated TEAM WEISSER…….MIKE “PAINT THE BLACK” GRAY pitched and hit his way to victory as he clouted a grand slam and gave up just three base knocks…..DOUG “THE PROFESSIONAL” SANDOR went 3 for 3 and GUTTMAN added his third long ball of the year……

STAR SIGHTINGS……….MIKE CREEMER was spotted by a certain someone attending the FLORENCE FREEDOM game last night……what a thriller as the home town team won 1-0 with a walk off base knock in the bottom of the 9th inning…….

TEAM LEFTON knocked TEAM LEADER from the unbeaten ranks with a 8-6 victory as BEN “WEEZE” LEFTON was recalled from the TOLEDO MUDHENS to pitch in place of his brother JIMMY LEFTON, who is resting a bad knee……it is rumored that the youngest of the LEFTON brothers will remain with the team and be used wherever he’s needed…….what a STUD!……

FYI………TEAM ROSENTHAL hasn’t won a game yet this season, however, both DEE HARRIS and  NICK REUSZER, both members of the winless team, tasted the thrill of victory while subbing for TEAM WEISBROT and TEAM LEFTON respectively……..
