In the only game to report at this time, TEAM ROSENTHAL kept winning as they defeated TEAM WAGNER, 7-0, behind the solid pitching of JASON “MVP” FAUST, and a flawless defense…..the key all season has been solid defense behind the 2nd-year pitcher……

CONGRATULATIONS GO OUT TO TEAM ROSENTHAL FOR WINNING THE FIRST HALF TITLE…….

TEAM ROSENTHAL finished off TEAM LEFTON, 13-3, in the completion of the first half game and completed the sweep by winning an exciting 13-12 contest leaving the bases loaded in the top of the 7th inning……it was a total team effort for the victors, while TEAM LEFTON was led by HAL FINE, who seemed to be hitting everything in sight including a grandslam homerun……the game was marked with a few “gift” calls by the umpire (NAME UNKNOWN) against TEAM LEFTON……….oh well……

The softball games were played this evening is spite of heavy downpours in parts of the area……

GAMES WERE CANCELLED THIS EVENING DUE TO RAIN…….MAKE-UP DATES HAVE NOT BEEN MADE AT THIS TIME…….STAY TUNED…..

Undefeated TEAM WAGNER knocked off the slumping TEAM LEADER in the conclusion of the first half game and the regularly scheduled second half game…….
STEVE ZAWATZKY pitched in relief to secure the Game 1 victory, while MARK WEISSER notched the victory in Game 2…….
JOEL ELLISON led the way in both victories both on offense and defense and received the game ball, but it was a total team effort, according to captain BRAD WAGNER…..
