TEAM CRONSTEIN has strung two victories together as they defeated TEAM WAGNER, 10-9 last Wednesday evening, in stunning fashion by plating four runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to snare victory from the jaws of defeat……key hits came off the bats of captain ADAM CRONSTEIN (4-4), MATT STEINBERG (HR) , EVAN COHEN (game tying 2B, 2 RBI) and the game winning base knock from JOEL KAHN……on Sunday morning, with the score tied at 9-9 in the top of the 7th inning, they exploded for four runs to knock off TEAM LEFTON, 13-9, as ageless wonder and now health food nut, STEVE EPPSTEIN, started the rally with one out with a “rocket” up the middle that started a string of hits capped by a bases loaded clearing triple by rookie TAYLOR SCHWARTZ…..DAN “THE BEARD” STEINBERG and MARC “THE MACHINE” TESSEL have contributed all season with hits and defensively, the younger STEINBERG gunned down the “speedy” JERRY KIRZNER and SCHWARTZ has made some web gem catches in the outfield……..

“The team has really started to hit their stride now that we have all our pieces in place after missing several key players throughout the first half of the season,” Cronstein said after the latest win.
“I think we’re really poised to make a strong run throughout the second half and maybe even, dare I say it, the playoffs,” he added.
