Thursday May 6……..11:43 a.m….two games reported from last night…..TEAM SILVERMAN defeated TEAM CRONSTEIN, 8-5, to remain undefeated….JOHNNY BERG, with his parents in the stands again, JOSH LISMAN and ERWIN NEUMAN received game balls in another team effort…BERG was 3 for 4; LISMAN was 3 for 4 including a triple and NEUMAN went 4 for 4 including a home run….in the other reported game….TEAM LOON got dumped by TEAM KIRZNER, 20-6, as team captain ANTON LOON reports major defensive struggles and was up all night scouring the waiver wire for a little defensive help….LOON is remaining calm and still expects to defend his 2009 second half championship despite some key free agent departures…..that’s what you get for NOT paying the BIG bucks to keep a team intact….it should be noted that this was a rough last few days for ANTON….his family was harrassed by a “bum” on the street while driving his family somewhere and son JACK lost his baseball game earlier in the week….hope next week is better for you bud…..finally, the BLOG thought it was strange that BRAD WAGNER’S girlfriend, BROOKE SNYDER, was NOT watching his game, but another one….trouble in paradise?…..comments/questions to r.rosenthal@fuse.net…..

Tuesday May 4…….12:19 p.m…..thanks to contributor RON ROSE….a story and picture in this morning’s Cincinnati Enquirer on page 3 in the sports section of CLAUDE and MAX POTVIN’S daughter and brother….MAX said that he thought her team could beat his team (TEAM CRONSTEIN)……mmmmmmm….maybe a game in the future can be set up…..questions/comments…..r.rosenthal@fuse.net…..

Friday April 30…..11:17 p.m….STAR SIGHTINGS….HAL FINE, MARK WOLF, DAN CRONSTEIN, MARK GORDON and ROGZILLA ROSENTHAL were spotted at the Cyclones hockey game this evening….LAWRENCE KURTZMAN was a NO-SHOW at the game….ANTON LOON spotted driving his family in Blue Ash harrassing a certain person on the street (ask LOONY about it)….RON R0SE, BRAD WAGNER and ex-JCC softball star BARRY SNYDER were expected to eat at Ruby Tuesdays in Kenwood, but NO confirmation if it indeed happened and what they had for lunch and who paid….questions/comments….r.rosenthal@fuse.net……

Sunday August 30……….7:59 p.m………as reported earlier, TEAM FOGEL defeated TEAM FRANKLIN, 19-9, in the play in game for the right to battle the #1 seeded TEAM WERNICK……..JAN (DOC) BECKER pitched well and had a few hits to boot…..ANDY “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN” IGNATOW, DAN (DOC) GLASSMAN and DAVID “IT’S MY FAULT” WEIL also provided some offensive power……super sub COREY NORRIS of TEAM GREFER provided a spark (get it) with a homerun…….remember FOGEL owes GREFER a tilapia sandwich…………the game also marked a milestone…….it is reportedly the last game ever for the retiring GREG “GIG” FRANKLIN…….here’s to a happy retirement from JCC softball………things will never be the same……may be better, but never the same (just kidding)……..games on Wednesday are as follows with runs spreads (NOT for betting purposes, just fun)…………TEAM WERNICK (-2)vs. TEAM FOGEL…….TEAM SCHWARTZ (-3) vs. TEAM EPPSTEIN……….TEAM GREFER (-5) vs. TEAM KIRZNER……….TEAM LOOOOOOOOON (-6) vs. TEAM NEWMAN……..GOOD LUCK TO THE REMAINING TEAMS…….. r.rosenthal@fuse.net………….
