Mike Small in Florida for early workout
Mike Small was spotted, training in Palm Beach, the last week of December. Rumors persist that he was with his private trainer preparing for the coming season. Mike would not allow pictures to be taken, or do a personal interview.
Billy” I don’t believe it ” Kahn, commits to the 2009 aeason
A phone call was made to Mr. Kahn’s office today to verify the rumor that Billy Kahn would return for the 2009 season. After sitting out the entire 2008 season it is in fact true, he will return! He stated that his foot, knee,back, neck, ankle, heel, and eyes are all healed. He is A OK and ready to go!

Fact: Dee “Pink Shirt” Harris will not be a captain in 2009.
Fact: Mike Stein will miss the entire 2009 season, due to foot surgery!
Fact: The following players have committed to play at least one more year, Ron Rose, David Alex, and Big Gig “Wiffle Ball Commissionerf For Life”.
Rumor: Joel Fogel will be a captain in 2009, subject to commission approval,and a background check.
Jerry Springer appears at Softball Banquet!
Thank You Jerry for being part of the softball league once again. It was great of you to address our league via video, we miss your great sense of humor and watching use that Red glove of yours too!
The Softball Banquet had a great turnout once again. We raised about $500.00 for the league next year from the proceeds of the raffle.
Next year will be a great year for softball and a hopefully a bigger and better softball banquet too!
