Jan Becker Pitches Team Glassman to playoff Win!
Jan Becker just gets under the wire to qualify for Team Glassman’s playoff squad!
It was a last minute call-up for Jan Becker to take the place of Team Glassman’s, leader Dan Glassman, Dan had a very bad bruise and sacrificed himself to help the team. What a guy!
Jan had a outstanding game, winning 9-8 over second half co-champ Team Weisser. It must be noted Team Weisser was missing Reggie Jackson (Scott) Wolf. Scott had a bad knee and is now in rehab through the fall and winter. Scott said he will be ready in time for the 2009 season! Mark Weisser had no comment.
Rookie Jake Evers ,was awarded the game ball for his oustanding hitting, he and his dad Rookie Rick Evers ,almost hit for the cycle! As All-Star, Jeff Frankenstein said “ they are rated way outside of what they are”.
