TEAM WEISSER defeated TEAM SCHWARTZ, 5-4, in an eight inning affair….

After sitting out last year with an injury, HOWARD SCHWARTZ pitched like he didn’t miss any time as he held TEAM WEISSER to only one run in the first five innings only to have them erupt for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning…..however, TEAM SCHWARTZ tied it in the top of the seventh inning only to have the victors win it in the bottom of the eighth inning……

It was a total team effort for the victors as all of the WOLFS…..SCOTT, DUFF, WES, TYLER and FREDDIE all came up with key base knocks and defensive plays especially WES who made some unbelievable plays at shortstop….other highlights included spectacular defense by COMMISSIONER BRAD WAGNER and a couple of key hits….captain MARK WEISSER was in command not walking anyone, while SAM HELDMAN came thru with a huge assist in the outfield by gunning down speedy ZACH SWADNER at second base trying to stretch a single into a double at a key spot in the game…..RYAN SMALL hit lead-off and got things going in the game-winning eighth inning and played a flawless first base….

In addition, ROGER ROSENTHAL played a solid second base, while TEDDY KANTOR, led the way with his veteran presence……
