GAME RECAPS……

Captain KEN GROH reports in…….his team is not undefeated anymore as they took one on the chin

12-8 to still undefeated TEAM WEISSER….the game was tied 8-8 when the victors took control and

got the victory…..BRAD WAGNER and DAN GILBERT kept up their hot hitting ways with three hits

each and RYAN BAUM and EDDIE GALLUP each added two hits apiece……It should be noted that

they had to play with only nine players……

In other action…….

TEAM SCHWARTZ defeated TEAM GREFER, 4-1, in a pitcher’s dual…..neither team could mount

 any kind of offense against the opposing pitchers……HOWARD SCHWARTZ (SCHWARTZ) and

ROBERT PELBERG (GREFER) and the defense behind them played brilliantly…..

Kudos go to PETE SPOERL of TEAM SCHWARTZ, who played a flawless 3B and started a huge

5-3 double play in a key situation in the game and to 2B ROGER ROSENTHAL who pulled off an

unbelievable catch in shallow RCF to thwart a rally……DAVID SOLOMON, once again, did an

admirable job behind the plate and MICHAEL ROTHSTEIN was sharp at SS……

STAT OF THE GAME…….ROSENTHAL went 0-0 with two walks and a sac fly and a run scored…..
