The start of the 2014 season is here!
The pre draft practice is  April 9th, Triple Creek, The DRAFT April 10th, and the 1st game is Sunday April 13th, game time is 9:30 AM.

ALL STAR GAME RESULTS……….

TEAM G. GREFER/S. WOLF defeated TEAM ROSE/R. LEFTON, 16-8, in a game played on Field # 4 on Sunday afternoon……
After scoring six runs in the opening frame off of MOST VALUABLE PLAYER CANDIDATE HOWARD SCHWARTZ, the “losers” could only muster two more runs off of SCHWARTZ and ROOKIE OF THE YEAR CANDIDATE KEN GROH, while on the other hand, the victors plated 16 runs off of MOST VALUABLE PLAYER CANDIDATE JASON FAUST and JIMMY LEFTON……MOST VALUABLE PLAYER in this classic was none other than 60-year old DOUG SANDOR, who was four for four from the plate and according to sources, all the hits were line drives…..CONGRATS TO DOUG SANDOR!!!!!!!

THE SEASON IS NOW OFFICIALLY OVER!!!!!!!

BANQUET IS SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY DECEMBER 8 AT THE JCC…….MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW………….

CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM SCHWARTZ!!!!!!

# 2 TEAM SCHWARTZ defeated # 5 TEAM WEISBROT, 5-2, in the finals of the season ending tournament.

The season (not including the All-Star game) is now in the books with TEAM ROSENTHAL winning the first half title and TEAM SCHWARTZ winning the second half title and the tournament……..

Individual awards will be given at the end of the season banquet at a still to be determined time and place………STAY TUNED!!!!!!

COMMISIONER RYAN KIRZNER reports that if rain washes out tomorrow’s championhip contest between # 5 TEAM WEISBROT and # 2 TEAM SCHWARTZ in the tournament, the game will be re-scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 11……..

THE FINALS ARE SET FOR THE TOURNAMENT…….

# 2 TEAM SCHWARTZ knocked off # 6 TEAM CRONSTEIN, 6-4, and # 5 TEAM WEISBROT ten-runned # team leader, 16-6, in games this morning……the games started where they left off on Wednesday before the rains suspended the action…….this is the second year in a row, JEFF WEISBROT has brought his team to the finals and hopefully from his standpoint, it’ll be a different result…….

The finals are set for Wednesday night with the first pitch at 6:01 p.m. with an unknown person to throw out the first pitch……the game will be carried on WJCC with the play by play and color analysis by STEVE JARNICKI and ROGER ROSENTHAL……..pre-game start at 5:30 p.m. with a look recapping the life of RON ROSE,  the 83-year old ageless wonder……
