TEAM WAGNER defeated TEAM ROTHSTEIN, 5-2, in a game dominated by the two pitchers, winner MARK WEISSER and loser MIKE GRAY…..defensive standouts were BRANDON GUTTMAN, BOB BONNER and MARK LEVINE……the victors were led on offense by WEISSER, BONNER, JOEL ELLISON and DAVID SNYDER, who provided the GEIKO INSURANCE RBI……of NOTE……MIKE CREEMER and GARY FISHER made comebacks after taking time off away from the league……next week, TEAM WAGNER battles TEAM WEISBROT and TEAM ROTHSTEIN takes on TEAM CRONSTEIN……both games will air on the ESPN network……
In other action……TEAM WEISBROT reported in that MARK FRANKLIN and ALBERT WEISBROT, father of captain JEFF WEISBROT, contributed key hits in their game vs. TEAM LEADER……

TEAM ROTHSTEIN reports in that even in a losing effort to TEAM WAGNER, there were some good things to come out of the game…….the balls were hit hard, but weren’t falling…….MIKE “BUCKY” MARGOLIS made a nice catch off the bat of MIKEY CREEMER and finally, EDDIE GALLOP, an old-timer from a loooooooooong time ago, collected a hit in his first at bat……

TEAM GREFER defeated a shorthanded TEAM LEFTON, 17-6, behind JAMIE KIRTZER’S fine pitching performance which included four strikeouts……all in a row……MIKE SMALL played a flawless SS, while rookies KEN GROH and RICK TENENHOLTZ and veteran GARY GREFER contributed on the offensive side……Game Ball went to KIRTZER as he notched his first win ever as a full time starter……
