Team Lefton, finally gets a chance to play on their home field, 4, away from all the noise and the media. After scoring 15 runs last week, the pitching and defense will now stop the drip, drip, drip to “Pink Shirt” Award. Team Captain, Rick Lefton said, “this is our field, this is our game to win, we will not be denied! It is our destiny!”

Tuesday June 22….11:31 a.m……TEAM GUTTMAN finally reported in on their 10-3 victory over TEAM SILVERMAN from last week….captain BRANDON GUTTMAN reports that the game summary was late in coming because of an official protest on a hit that should have been creditted to KEN “THE FEAR” FEHR that was initially recorded an error, but was finally overturned by COMMISSIONER MICHAEL ROTHSTEIN…..as for the game BG reports that great defense backed the fine pitching of “SUPER” STU WEINSTEIN….hitting stars were….ANDY “THE ANSWER” IGNATOW who improved his BA (batting average) to an amazing .786, yes….BG keeps the best stats in mankind….FEHR collected four hits as well and BG claims he hits the hardest singles in the league bar none and finally JARROD “J-ROD” HIUDT did it again with his usual hitting…TEAM GUTTMAN is 5-1 with a HUGE game this week vs. TEAM GREFER, 4-1,…..ESPN will carry the game with their Sunday night crew…..WOW!!!!!….that’s HUGE!!!!!!!….IT HAS BEEN POINTED OUT THAT THE GLARE ON THE WEBSITE MAKES IT HARD TO READ THE STORIES…..CAN SOMETHING BE DONE?…….stay tuned……comments/questions to r.rosenthal@fuse.net…….

Monday June 21…..5:37 p.m…….captain ADAM CRONSTEIN reported in this morning about his 10-9 come from behind victory over TEAM LOOOOOON, however it was already reported a few days ago by a certain “cub” reporter and there wasn’t anything really new to add, but thank you to the rookie captain for at least getting me a report before their next game…..THE QUESTION NOW IS WHERE IS BRANDON GUTTMAN???????……questions/comments can be sent to……r.rosenthal@fuse.net
JCC Futures All-Star Game 2010
ROGER’S HOT CORNER…………
Friday June 18….11:04 a.m…..two games have yet to report in from Wednesday’s action so the BLOG had to take action and here’s a report from the game it was involved in….TEAM CRONSTEIN recorded a come-from-behind victory, 10-9, over TEAM LOOOOOOOON, scoring two runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to pull out the win….trailing 9-3, captain ADAM CRONSTEIN, after threatening his team with a midnight workout that night, hammered a three-run homerun in the 5th inning and then scored two more in the 6th inning to make it a 9-8 score going to the 7th….BARRY KAPLAN shut the door in the top of the inning to give his team a chance and they came through…..ROGER “ROGZILLA” ROSENTHAL led off with his third hit in three tries and after a MAX POTVIN hit, pitcher DAVID FOX threw a wild pitch and both runners advanced….A. CRONSTEIN bounced back to the mound and neither runner could advance and after an intentional walk to MATT “THE EAGLE” STEINBERG loaded the bases, rookie ANDY GAGE got a single to left field that scored the tying and winning runs….again, ROGZILLA played a stellar 2B with a fine catch on ANTON LOOOOOON’S pop-up to end the 7th inning with his back on the ground in one good, but very awkward looking play….it should also be noted LOOOOOOON was thrown out by A. CRONSTEIN trying to stretch a single into a double early in the game…..good call by the umpire, eh ANTON??????….NO REPORT YET ON THE USUALLY RELIABLE BRANDON GUTTMAN, but the BLOG knows that they defeated TEAM SILVERMAN, 10-3, (correction from 6-2) in which GARY “JUST” ASKIN reports that the pitching of “SUPER” STU WEINSTEIN, with his changing speeds and the stellar and dominating defense kept the losers at bay….questions/coments to r.rosenthal@fuse.net….. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!!
