Friday June 13………..11:17 a.m……….. another update from Wednesday’s action comes in from Team Eppstein’s victory over the still winless and leading contender for the infamous pink shirt Team Harris, 19-16…….captain STEVE EPPSTEIN was quoted after the game saying, “the game was so ugly nobody deserved to win”……my suggestion is to give both teams a loss, eh?…..trailing 12-1 after three innings, Team Harris, captained by JOEL “SPARKY” FOGEL in DEE HARRIS’ absence (maybe a shake-up is in order) roared back to take a 16-12 lead heading into the 7th inning only to have Team Eppstein score seven runs and win 19-16……..BEN HELDMAN, in his debut, after finishing up his tennis season at Walnut Hills, had three hits and was awarded the game ball….ATTENTION…………father ANDY HELDMAN……..you can take some hitting tips from him……… and DAVID WERNICK played some solid defense…….rumor has it that Las Vegas has set odds on if and when Team Harris will win a game…….for the latest odds…….call 1-800-123-4567………. r.rosenthal@fuse.net ……………..
