Tuesday May 20………4:38 p.m………it looks like there will be softball tomorrow night as the forecast calls for NO rain………..sports update……in hockey……..Detroit vs. Pittsburgh for the Stanley Cup……my pick is Pittsburgh in six games……Cyclones as the Kelly Cup Champs over the Las Vegas Thunder as long as the team stays out of the casinos……..in the N.B.A……..Detroit over Boston in seven games (wanna bet MIKE ROTHSTEIN?) and San Antonio over Los Angeles in seven games………DOUG SANDOR e-mailed me back and wrote he may be back next year…..it depends on how his old bones are doing …….QUESTION OF THE DAY……. Sunday May 18………9:40 p.m………..Kudos go to DAN CRONSTEIN for being a BIG fan of the Cyclones!!!!!!!!…..he and a “companion” were on vacation in Hilton Head over the past week and he followed the team via the internet……….Wow!!!!!!!!…….Celtics win Game 7 vs King James and now play Detroit in the Eastern Conference Finals………are you happy MIKE ROTHSTEIN?…..tomorrow the Western Conference Finals will be set when New Orleans and San Antonio square off in Game 7 in the Bayou state…….. r.rosenthal@fuse.net ……

Sunday May 18……………10:37 p.m…….I just received a nice e-mail this evening from former softballer DOUG SANDOR and he reports that he and son BENJY are both out with injuries that require surgeries……..it seems like that’s the lastest fad as yours truely goes for head……I mean foot surgery May 30……… hope all goes well with the SANDORS………. r.rosenthal@fuse.net ………….

Saturday May 17…………11:12 p.m………CYCLONES ARE IN THE FINALS!!!!!!……they defeated the South Carolina Stingrays on the road this evening 2-1 in overtime to win the series 4 games to 1…….next up is Las Vegas for the Kelly Cup Championship!!!!!!!……..in the N.H.L…….Dallas staved off elimination as they defeated Detroit 2-1, but still trail 3-2 in the series…..tomorrow, Pittsburgh, behind Sid the Kid, will try to eliminate Philly up 3 games to 1…….the Reds defeated in state rival Cleveland this evening 4-2 thanks to a three-run jack by Adam Dunn……..and finally Candace Parker scored 34 points in her professional debut to pace the Los Angles Sparks to a road win over the Phoenix Mercury………that’s for you BRAD WAGNER……..in the N.B.A. Lebron and Co. will try to knock off Boston in Beantown with the series tied at 3 and the winner to play the Detroit Pistions and some guy from U.C..that’s for you BRAD WAGNER………….. r.rosenthal@fuse.net …….
