Softballer SAM HELDMAN has passed away……..NO funeral arrangements have been made as of

this time……stay tuned….

END OF THE SEASON BANQUET A GREAT TIME HAD BY ALL………..

The JCC Fastpitch Softball League end of the season banquet was held Sunday night at the JCC……

Some 60+ members of the league gathered for food and drinks and listened to the guest speaker, DOUG FLYNN, two time member of the CINCINNATI REDS BIG RED MACHINE teams  in 1975 and 1976…..he talked about everything from trying out for the Reds out of college to how he feels about the game today……then took questions from the crowd…….

KUDOS…..A+ to the people involved with organizing and working the banquet……..

Individual awards were also given out to the following players……

Team trophies were also awarded to TEAM WEISSER for the regular season league title and to TEAM HIUDT for the end of the season tournament title.

CONGRATS to the players who won their respective awards and to TEAM WEISSER and TEAM HIUDT for their respective titles!!!!!!!!!!!

A slide presentation was shown which included rookie practices, draft day, regular season, tournament and the all-star game……

SPECIAL THANKS GO TO……the JCC SOFTBALL COMMISSION headed by COMMISSIONER BRAD WAGNER and to the JCC ATHLETIC DEPT. headed by MIKE CREEMER for a job well done this season!!!!!
