In order to save the pitching arms on Team Fogel, for the “Play-in” game, Team Franklin will forgo wearing the team shirt. This will result in only one pitch being thrown to each batter, during their first plate appreance.
This will reduce the wear and tear to shoulder, necks legs arm, quads, and balls and bats, oh yes it will save time too!
Come watch history be made!

What can only be said about the outcome of this game is the word “Upset”! Had it not been for a 2 out throwing error by the former Commissioner for Life” with no one on base, Team Franklin would have had their fifth win of the season. Team Loon then scored 5 runs before the third out in the inning. Going into the 7th inning Team Franklin still had the lead 8-7, Team Loon score 5 more runs in the top half of the inning. Team Franklin mounted a threat scoring a run, before the third out of the final inning ended and then end of regular season.
Speculation has it several players on Team Franklin and Team Loon have played their last regular season game ever!

Monday August 24……….3:37 p.m……….I’m 54 years old today!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!……..now onto softball……..the final week is scheduled for Wednesday with seeding in the tournament still up for grabs………the weather report looks good……..STAR SIGHTINGS………BRAD WAGNER was spotted eating dinner at Olive Garden in Deerfield Township Sunday with his honey, Brooke Snyder, and another couple……..don’t know what he ordered, but I’m sure it was healthy…….today, MICHAEL SMALL was spotted eating lunch at Ruby Tuesday’s in Kenwood with a couple of guys…..looked like business…….and yes I don’t know what he ordered either……… HAPPY SOFTBALLING AND GOOD LUCK IN THE TOURNAMENT……… r.rosenthal@fuse.net ………….
