TEAM WAGNER defeated TEAM SCHWARTZ, 3-0, in a real pitcher’s dual….. winning pitcher MARK WEISSER pitched masterfully as the defense behind him played well as you would expect in a shutout and catcher MIKE CREEMER “called” a great game………defensive stars were SS JOEL ELLISON and LCFer BRANDON GUTTMAN, which included a web gem off the bat of THE ROCKET…….Game Balls went to WEISSER and ELLISON……the winners battle TEAM LEADER while TEAM SCHWARTZ takes on TEAM ROSENTHAL next week……..both games will be aired on tape delay on ESPN and ESPN II respectively…..please check your local listings for times……

ESPN reported today, that TEAM CRONSTEIN is projected as the “PINK SHIRT” winner for the 2013 season with 12 games left in the 18 game season!

Under clear skies, TEAM WEISBROT finally got into the win column with a victory over previously unbeaten TEAM ROSENTHAL……winning pitcher STU WEINSTEIN, settled down after a rough first inning to quiet the opposing bats and JACK COHEN, paced the way on offense as he seemed to be getting on base each at bat…….
