The ball and bases have been transported by private courier to the “J” to be put in the Men’s Softball Trophy case. Team Schwartz bounces back from last weeks lost to win 19-9 KT had several hits and RBI in the winning clause..Team Loonie wins, Team Kirzner loses. Philly Bob Pelberg pitches a win. Team Lefton had the bye, but several players filled in as subs. But their teams lost! Wow, Team Lefton proves the sum of the individual parts are greater then the whole.

CFL Reports-Team Lefton continues win streak
Team Lefton had complete control over their opponent Wednesday night, winning 5-3.
Brandon Guttman was a “Super-Sub for SS Billy Kahn, who was watching Eric Clapton in concert at Riverbend. All-Star Willy Waxler earned the game ball for his monumental effort both on defense and offense. Pitcher Jim Lefton, had the best control of the year. Walking only 2 and giving up 0nly 2 earned runs in 7 innings.Team Captain Rick Lefton was quoted after the game, “boyz, Gig’s buying the wings”……Team Loonie beat up on Team Eppstein and earned their wings compliments of Steve Eppstein. Team Loonie was waiting patiently at the chicken house for their reward. Team captain Steve Eppstein honored his bet upon his late arrival at the chicken house.
