Monday July 26…..3:37 p.m…..NO reports in as of yet from the winning captains from TEAM KIRZNER and TEAM CRONSTEIN…..shame on you!!!!!……TEAM KIRZNER did break a looooooooooooong winless streak, but NO details in on the win so onto the next game which yours truely was involved in…..TEAM CRONSTEIN, behind two triples from the “speedy” DAN CRONSTEIN and a homerun by BARRY KAPLAN, defeated TEAM SCHWARTZ, 12-7…..also MATT GOLDSCHMIDT, WYOMING CLASS OF 2010, hit a triple and made some fine defensive plays at 3b for the second week in a row….OF NOTE…..before the game, HAL FINE was presented a ST. LOUIS BLUES mascot bear from ROGER “ROGZILLA” ROSENTHAL, FINE’S favorite NHL team….rumor has it that he and wife KIM, had to share their bed that night with the yet unnamed bear….questions/comments….. r.rosenthal@fuse.net…..

Saturday July 24….12:59 a.m……captain BRANDON GUTTMAN reported in on his team’s 13-7 victory over TEAM LOOOOOOOON….KEN “FEAR THE” FEHR went 4 for 4 with two triples and with any kind of speed they would have been homeruns….ZAC “HYPHE” HIUDT also contributed on the hitting end, but NO stats were released on his performance (BG….you’re slacking off a little here)….BG would like to thank subs STEVE ZAWATZKY, BOBBY “BIG MOUTH” CARTER and ERWIN NEUMAN for their performances while giving up their time….NO REPORTS as of yet from captains ADAM CRONSTEIN and JERRY KIRZNER on their victories…..maybe they forgot as their respective teams haven’t won in a looooooong time….STAR SIGHTINGS…..LAWRENCE KURTZMAN spotted in the BLUE ASH KROGERS with a female friend……hmmmmmmm…….RABBI BEREL COHEN gave yours truely a tour of the CHABBAD HOUSE in BLUE ASH…..nice facility…..OTHER TIDBITS…..as for the results of the first pitch of the FLORENCE FREEDOM game Friday night delivered by one ROGER “ROGZILLA” ROSENTHAL….you’re going to just have to ask him how it went….questions/comments to r.rosenthal@fuse.net……..

Team Lefton aka “The Green Machine”, wins by a 5 run margin! The Lefton boys hit the cover off the 40 stitch ball! Outstanding defense, great pitching and speed. I mean speed on the bases.
Dee Harris, Mike” Crawling” Creemer and Teddy Ballgame all raced around the bases like Drew Stubbs!
Billy Kahn had an oustanding night at the plate, he had couple of hits and ate a large pizza after the game. Gordy sucked. He did not get a hit but played ok defense, too many Gatorades, I think.
Billy did announce to CFL that he would retire at the end of the season to” spend more time with the family”. We will see how that plays out.
Is Team Lefton a force to reckoned with? The Team of destiny? Can they win the 2nd half? Will they go undeafeated? NOPE! Are you kidding me! But… they will bury Team Eppstein next week or I’ll buy Team Eppstein’s team wings! Good night!
